Hired Mr. Sydnes from Redbud Property Inspections for a pre-purchase check on my $200K+ Lennar new-build in OKC. With all the online horror stories about rushed workmanship, defects, and warranty fights on new construction, I didn't want to get stuck with hidden issues after closing.His thorough inspection found no major problems—just a few minor fixes Lennar will cover before closing. That clean report gave me real peace of mind: my home is solid, safe, well-built, and no corners were cut. Without this independent check, I'd still be guessing.A few hundred bucks for total certainty on a big investment? Worth it 100%. Highly recommend—called late afternoon, they answered fast, scheduled quick. I hired Redbud Inspections at the strong recommendation of a friend who is a realtor in the area. I needed my parents' duplex inspected due to deffered maintenance, so that I could help them decide what to prioritize for repairs. Cody and Aaron were my inspectors, and both were wonderful. They were extremely friendly and professional, did a very thorough job during the inspection, and answered all the questions my sister and I had. The report is so helpful now that we are deciding what to do next. One thing I would note--we did a sewer scoping and were recommended to have a plumber check it out due to root intrusion and some unusal visuals in the line. The plumber we hired (who came at the recommendation of Redbud) noted that he will have to rescope because the images aren't high enough quality for him to know what is going on. Perhaps that was to be expected, but I'd say that if you have an old house that has not had sewer work in a long time, you may be better off going straight to a plumber for that one so that you don't have to pay for the scope twice. I don't fault Redbud for that, but it was something I hadn't considered when I selected that add on service. - 2/22/2026 

They did a very thorough inspection, and the report was very professional with all explanations, it was also very objective, talking about facts, not assumptions. They use a very friendly software, you can directly connect recommended vendors for different repairs, get the estimates and make your decision easily. I met Steve during inspection as he told me he wanted to do the inspection himself since it was a historical house. He is a very nice and accommodating person, apparently he loves what he is doing.
